Our lovely old hall’s garden needs some bigger chores done while it is still winter and plants are dormant.
We would love for you to join us at 1.30pm on Saturday, 29 July for a working bee!
Wear covered shoes, bring a hat and some gloves and whatever tools you’d be happy using, like shovels, pruners, hedgers, etc.
A few shrubs need to be moved and we’re going to revamp an old bed and dig a new one. We’ll be taking out some dead wood, weeding and mulching garden beds and will plant the last three crepe myrtles inside the Gordon Street verge. There will be heavier and lighter work to suit everyone.
The ladies on the QPA will do some baking for afternoon tea. We’ll light the fire!
Should be fun and it will be great to see the place made ready for Spring.
Many hands make light work!
Hope to see you then!
