In December 2015 The Triangle Community Newspaper donated $500 to Nardy House, Quaama’s respite centre for the profoundly disabled.
Denise Redmond (CEO) thanked us and said, “We’ll be spending the $500 donation on ceramic pots for the kitchen garden, and then we’ll be planting lots of herbs in them.
“Our clients can’t move around independently so they rely on their senses for enjoyment.
“They’ll love the sight of them, and the smell as they brush past them, and the feel of them. Then, of course, they’ll enjoy them in their food.”
