Free Fruit Fly Workshop, 22 August in Cobargo

A free fruit fly workshop is being held in Moruya, Cobargo, Brogo and Bega

Fruit flies are a significant threat to horticulture, both commercial and hobby. They can have major impacts on Australia’s capacity to trade competitively in international markets. Queensland fruit fly is a pest that requires everyone to be involved in controlling the insect and restricting its spread.

At this workshop, Dr Olivia Reynolds from NSW DPI will cover:

  • fruit fly biology
  • fruit fly ecology
  • management of Queensland fruit fly in fruits and fruiting vegetables.

WEDNESDAY August 22

THURSDAY August 23
