Dry River Rest Area – Saturday, 28 March

from a community mailout by Rose Chaffey…

As promised, we can finally start planting in the prepared area adjacent to the Dry River rest area in Quaama. Please put this date in your diary and make a big effort to get there.

Date: Saturday March 28th
March 28th is polling day but we’ll still go ahead. Either vote early and come on down to the riverbank at 9.30am to get your hands dirty, or do some planting early and then head off to the hall to cast your ballot.

Time: 9.30 am meet at the Quaama rest area (nr the highway).
PLEASE BRING
– gardening gloves,
– wear sturdy shoes
– and a hat
– and maybe a water bottle
– and shovel if you have one.

If anyone feels to bring Morning tea that would be great!

IMPORTANT: you will also need $20 to join the Dry River Landcare group. This covers you for insurance in the event of any accident/incident. Those who paid this fee last year are still covered.

Feel free to bring your friends too to join our working group, the more hands the better.

cheers
Rose
